1973 Silverton 33 Silverton

This 1973 Silverton 33 is a fiberglass cruiser with a flybridge layout and twin 318-cubic-inch gasoline engines rated at 225 horsepower each. The boat measures 33 feet 8 inches in length with a 12-foot 6-inch beam. The engines run on a closed cooling system and have been used for approximately 800 hours. Notable mechanical features include flex couplings on the shafts, trim tabs, engine synchronizers, a gas analyzer, and a newer alternator. An Onan generator was installed in 1968.

The boat has twin helm stations for dual steering control. Below deck, accommodations include two refrigerators and an air-conditioning unit. A power windlass with 150 feet of line, remote control spotlight, and two marine radios are installed for cruising. The head uses an electrosan system. A swim platform with boarding ladder and trim tabs complete the running setup.

The fuel system was upgraded with a 200-gallon aluminum tank replacing the original. A 150-foot rode and anchor system, along with brass spare propellers and shafts, are aboard. Topside, the boat features roll pleat cushions, a flybridge cover, and a Bimini top with enclosure.

The cabin and deck areas have been mostly sanded in preparation for painting, with marine paint and stain on hand. Some cockpit work remains. Included with the boat are life jackets, fenders, and a framework and canvas system for winter storage.
