This 93-foot steel cannery tender was built in 1974 and lengthened in 1991 with sponsons totaling 8 feet. The hull is all-welded mild steel with an aluminum tophouse, featuring a V-entry design with pronounced sheer and a squared stern. A Detroit Diesel 16V-149 non-turbocharged engine rated at 940 horsepower drives the boat through a Twin Disc deep-case transmission with a 6:1 reduction ratio. The engine, replaced in 2001, shows 8,661 hours on its meter.
The boat accommodates a crew of 8 across a main deck galley and dinette, an engineer stateroom with twin bunks, a four-bunk crew room, and a master stateroom on the 01 level. Two heads serve the vessel, each with independent shower stalls. A commercial walk-in freezer and refrigerator support galley operations with a stainless Lang stove and grill, double sink, and over-counter microwave. Crew comfort features include a stackable washer-dryer, electric and forced-air heating, and Fantech ventilation throughout.
The boat carries substantial fuel and freshwater capacity—nearly 32,000 gallons of diesel in 10 integral tanks and 3,497 gallons of fresh water. Two Detroit Diesel generators provide 208V three-phase power, cooled through structural keel coolers. Hydraulic systems power a Nordic anchor winch, a North American 30-foot knuckle boom deck crane with Rotzler winch, a 6-inch picking boom, and various deck machinery including a 40-horsepower fish pump and a 50-ton IMS refrigerated seawater system. The boat is equipped with comprehensive navigation electronics including Furuno radar and chartplotter, dual VHF radios, dual GPS units, satellite comms, and Starlink internet.
The hull and deck are plated in mild steel with substantial framing, and the boat features six watertight bulkheads to the main deck. Two main fish holds are polyurea-coated with a reported capacity of 230,000 pounds of salmon. Ground tackle includes two Danforth anchors, chain, and wire. Safety equipment meets USCG requirements and includes a liferaft, EPIRB, survival suits, and fixed fire suppression in the engine room.
