1974 Ericson 35

A 1974 Ericson 35 designed by Bruce King, this fiberglass sloop represents a celebrated class known for graceful lines and robust construction. The hull features a fin keel with spade rudder and carries a masthead sloop rig with a draft of 4 feet 11 inches. Powered by a 30-horsepower Atomic 4 gasoline engine, she cruises at 7 knots and is steered by a comfortable wheel supplemented by a traditional tiller. Fresh exterior paint and a new binnacle compass complete her outward presentation.

The interior is bright and well-proportioned, with a generous forward V-berth, a starboard quarter berth, and a spacious salon fitted with settees and good headroom. The galley offers a deep sink, substantial counter space, and storage suitable for extended cruising. A marine head with holding tank and working galley and head sinks complete the functional spaces.

Significant modernization has been completed. The mast was pulled and equipped with new wiring, lights, Windex, and sheaves. Electrical and plumbing systems were entirely rewired and replumbed in 2020. Bottom paint was freshly applied using premium VC 17m anti-fouling compound. The electrical installation includes new 2020 AC and DC panels, battery chargers, power inverter, and navigation lights with updated wiring. Autopilot and marine radio handle electronics.

Equipment aboard includes two Danforth anchors with chain and rode, spinnaker pole, life slings and horseshoe throw, swim ladder, fenders, teak cockpit details, and a bosun's chair. Sails comprise main and rolling jib with main cover. Bilge pumps, dock power cord, and jackstands round out the inventory.
