1974 Lazy Days Houseboat

This 56-foot aluminum houseboat was comprehensively renovated in 2020. The interior features two bedrooms—a master with queen bed and his-and-her closets, plus a guest room with memory foam mattress—and one full bathroom with a new Raritan head, shower doors, vanity, polished stone countertop, and waterfall tile. The galley includes new custom cabinetry, granite countertop with tile backsplash, a new double cast iron sink, Samsung five-burner electric range with air fryer and steam oven, microwave, dishwasher, and wine cooler. A laundry room houses a stackable washer and dryer.

The boat is powered by twin 225 HP Mercruiser V-8 engines. It carries an Onan 10 kW generator, dual voltage 110/12-volt lighting, and a 2-ton Trane central air and heating system. Fresh water capacity includes two new 75-gallon tanks, and two new 18-gallon hot water heaters serve the systems. Three new bilge pumps and a new sump pump handle water management.

The interior has been extensively rebuilt with complete foam insulation in walls and ceilings, new interior walls and trim in natural birch and maple, new solid wood flooring throughout, and LED lighting with dimmer switches. Electrical wiring and the service panel were replaced. A new refrigerator with freezer rounds out the galley appliances. The boat features a flybridge with dual controls and bimini top, an 18-foot canvas party top, front deck enclosure, deck furniture, and Bluetooth speakers inside with stereo topside.
