This 1974 Nautor Swan 41 was designed by Sparkman & Stephens and embodies the classic principles that defined the marque. Built as a competitive Admiral's Cup yacht adapted for cruising, the Swan 41 combines reliable performance under sail with balanced handling and a well-considered interior layout suited to extended passage-making. The boat has cruised extensively across UK coastal waters, the Mediterranean, and the Atlantic.
Recent and ongoing investment reflects a commitment to keeping the yacht in active condition. A new Yanmar diesel engine and propshaft were installed in 2023. The standing rigging was renewed in 2022, and the topsides, cockpit, and coach roof have been repainted in Awlgrip. A new Lewmar V3 anchor windlass was fitted in 2025.
The sail plan has been comprehensively upgraded with new One Sails inventory throughout 2025, including a 140% furling genoa, J4 blade jib, mainsail, A2 and A4 asymmetric spinnakers, storm jib, and trisail. New masthead spinnaker halyard blocks from Harken and new Spectra spinnaker halyards with Tylaska T12 shackles complete the rigging package.
The yacht is presented ready for use, with a fiberglass hull measuring 41 feet in length and 11.94 feet in beam, powered by a single diesel engine.
