1975 Bertram 31

This 1975 Bertram 31 is a classic sportfishing boat built on a fiberglass hull. The boat was repowered in 2000 with twin Yanmar 6LP-STE engines rated at 300 horsepower each, with logged engine hours just over 3,200. A diesel generator was rebuilt in 2022 and carries zero hours. Additional upgrades include an inverter, oversized stainless steel rudders, and a full suite of navigation and fish-finding electronics: Ritchie compass, VHF radio, radar, dual GPS units (Raytheon and North Star), Simrad AP II autopilot, and Furuno depth and fish finder.

The working deck is arranged for serious fishing. A flybridge helm station with cover sits atop the cabin, complemented by a tuna tower, deck-mounted tuna chair, rod holders, and a harpoon pulpit. The cockpit is notably spacious with an open design suited to casting. Below deck, a cuddy cabin provides sleeping quarters with a V-berth for two, alongside a galley equipped with a Nova Kool refrigerator and two-burner electric cooktop. The interior also features heating and air conditioning, interior and exterior lighting, and an electric head.

The boat has been maintained professionally and benefits from a history of upgrades over its working life. At cruising speed it reaches 28 knots.
