This 1975 Classic-Yachten Schoner is a wooden sailing yacht built by the respected Bieritz boatyard using traditional craftsmanship and premium materials. The hull and deck are constructed from Kambala and Iroko on oak. At nearly 69 feet long with a 16-foot beam, the boat carries approximately 180 square meters of sail and draws 2.3 feet. Power comes from a Mercedes six-cylinder diesel engine. This is a faithful reconstruction of a traditional 19th-century North German freight schooner, a design type once common along the Pomeranian Baltic coast.
The interior accommodates a bow cabin with a double berth and two midship cabins, each with two berths. The boat features fresh water and fuel tanks of approximately 1,000 liters each. Equipment includes electric and manual bilge pumps, an electric mast winch with two-speed capability, an electric anchor winch with remote control, pressurized hot water system, electric toilet, deck wash pump, diesel heating, and a two-burner gas stove with oven. Navigation and communication systems include VHF radio, depth sounder, wind measurement, weather fax, AIS with GPS antenna, multifunction display with chart plotter, and hydraulic autopilot.
Between 2014 and 2024, the boat underwent extensive maintenance and upgrades. The electrical system and sails were renewed from 2014 to 2016. From 2021 to 2024, the fastening system and planking were comprehensively refitted. In 2023, the battery charging system, batteries, hot water boiler, and underwater paint were replaced. The boat is equipped with a full sailing inventory including mainsail, jib, staysail, and storm sails. A tender with 5 hp outboard engine and a six-person life raft complete the gear.
