1975 Hatteras 58 Long Range Cruiser

This is hull number one of the Hatteras 58 Long Range Cruiser line, the original demonstration boat that introduced the design to the market. The yacht showcases the distinctive African hardwood appointments—Sapele and Teak trim throughout—that defined this classic cruising platform. Twin Detroit Diesel 4-71N engines, each producing 320 horsepower, have logged approximately 5,000 hours and deliver a cruising speed of 8 knots with fuel consumption around 4 gallons per hour, enabling a range exceeding 2,000 nautical miles.

The interior reflects numerous upgrades over the decades. A complete galley renovation occurred in 2013, followed by new upholstery and curtains throughout the boat at that time. The master cabin received fresh upholstery and new curtains in 2024. Two Phasor 20kW generators installed in 2013 provide substantial electrical capacity. A 30-gallon hot water heater was installed in 2025, and batteries and charging systems were replaced in March 2023.

Additional equipment includes four new TVF fin stabilizers for motion control, new marine audio with Polk Atrium 8 speakers added in 2025, a washer and dryer fitted in 2012, and a 13-foot Boston Whaler tender powered by a 25-horsepower Johnson outboard. The boat's service history has been carefully documented by the current owners across five years of operation.
