The Uniflite Sport Fisher 42 is a fiberglass-hulled sportfishing yacht built in 1975. Twin Detroit Diesel engines produce 620 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots. The boat measures 42 feet in length with a 14.75-foot beam, designed for serious fishing and extended cruising in offshore conditions.
The interior includes two cabins and one head, with a lower helm station in the main salon featuring custom cabinetry. The upper flybridge provides command visibility with modern electronics: Glendinning electronic engine controls, Garmin autopilot, and a Garmin GPSMAP 7612 chartplotter with integrated fishfinder, side scan, and CHIRP sonar. Fishing amenities include two bait tanks, a Caribe RIB tender with outboard and crane, and substantial rod and gear storage throughout.
Recent upgrades span engine systems and interior comfort. New motor mounts, rebuilt generator starter and alternator, and serviced cooling systems on both generator and main engines ensure reliability. Fresh water and bilge pumping systems have been replaced, along with new steering components. The bridge area features new Strata-glass, new carpet, and new Pompanette helm swivel seats. Accommodations include newly upholstered bunks and a master stateroom with television.
Exterior refinishing includes new LP paint on hullsides, deck, and flybridge. Additional equipment includes a KVH satellite antenna, new underwater lights, and a six-person liferaft. New transom bait tank pump and new cockpit paint complete the recent work.
