This 1976 Baltic 42 is a Finnish-built racing yacht designed by the C&C design group. Originally commissioned for the German Admirals Cup team in 1977, she has spent years campaigned in the Caribbean and carries the patina of serious ocean sailing and racing. The boat is powered by a Perkins diesel engine, which was replaced in 2004 and underwent major overhaul in 2023 and 2024.
The yacht underwent significant rig work in 2020, with complete rigging replacement totaling $18,500 through DAM Rigging in Fort Lauderdale. New main and genoa sails were delivered in 2023 and remain unused. Additional canvas includes racing sails in fair condition, a Dacron 110 genoa, and three spinnakers in good condition. The boat carries double genoa and spinnaker halyards, Dyneema running backstays, and self-tailing Lewmar winches. A new Bimini and forward awning were installed in 2024, and the hull received fresh anti-foul and fairing in April 2024.
Below deck, the accommodation comprises three cabins: an aft owners cabin with two berths, a main saloon with two sea berths and a V berth forward, and additional cabin space. The galley includes a three-burner propane stove and oven with refrigeration in an insulated icebox. A pressure water system, salt water foot pump, and three bilge pumps provide essential systems. Navigation and safety equipment includes a new Raymarine EVO-100 autopilot installed in 2023, Furuno 1720 radar, Standard Horizon VHF radio with remote mic, ONWA AIS transponder, Raymarine i60 depth and wind instruments, and a secondary compass. Two Danforth anchors with chain and rode complete the ground tackle.
