1976 CHB Double Cabin Trawler

The CHB 34 Double Cabin Trawler is a fiberglass trawler built in Taiwan, designed for steady handling and efficient long-range cruising. Powered by a single 120 hp Ford Lehman diesel engine, the boat cruises at approximately 7 knots while consuming roughly 2.5 gallons per hour. She is equipped with both bow and stern thrusters, which is uncommon for a boat of this age.

The interior features two cabins and two heads. The layout includes a forward V-berth, an aft cabin, a convertible dinette in the salon, and an efficient galley. Warm teak woodwork and updated upholstery throughout contribute to a classic trawler aesthetic suited for extended time aboard.

Recent upgrades include a 2022 Webasto diesel furnace, a 525-watt solar array, refreshed electrical systems and batteries, and a modern Garmin UHD2 GPS chartplotter. The bottom was repainted and zincs were renewed in spring 2025. The boat has benefited from continuous maintenance and thoughtful improvements while retaining its traditional design character.
