1976 Cheoy Lee Clipper Ketch

This 1976 Cheoy Lee Clipper Ketch is a 42-foot blue water cruising sailboat designed by A.E. Luders. The fiberglass hull carries a 12-foot beam and draws 5 feet 9 inches. Twin Perkins diesel engines provide auxiliary power.

Recent work includes a complete mast refitting and restepping in 2022, a thorough below-waterline hull overhaul completed in March 2025 with keel reconditioning and fresh fiberglass coating, and a new propeller and shaft installed in 2020. The Perkins engine was completely rebuilt in 2011. Bronze port lights were replaced in 2015, and a new autopilot was added in 2021.

Below deck, the boat sleeps six and features teak interior walls, an updated galley, and a remodeled head with new holding tank. Solar refrigerator and freezer units provide cold storage. Two new lithium batteries installed in 2021 serve the electrical system. A 24-inch flat screen television is on board.
