This 1976 Egg Harbor 33 Sportfisher is a hand-laid fiberglass hull built to traditional standards. The boat was originally used for marlin fishing off San Diego and has undergone extensive restoration over several years.
The twin Mercruiser 454 engines have been completely rebuilt with new exhaust manifolds, carburetors, distributors, alternators, and oil and transmission coolers. Engine hours are minimal at 100 on the starboard side and 110 on the port. New raw and circulation water pumps, temperature and oil pressure alarms, and updated gauges with sending units are installed. The electrical system has been upgraded throughout, including 12 and 120 volt wiring, new batteries and Perko switches, and a new power inverter and battery tender.
The boat features new bilge, freshwater, and wash-down pumps, a new hot water heater, rebuilt head, new alcohol and electric stove, and new refrigerator and television. Interior flooring is rubber-backed carpet that can be rolled up. A new Hailer with intercom and external speakers is included but requires installation. Navigation and communication equipment includes an older Raymarine chart plotter, depth finder, and fish finder, plus a new ship-to-shore radio and new stereo with speakers. The boat was recently repainted. An 18-foot taco down-rigger system is included with the sale.
