This 1976 Grand Banks 42 is a fiberglass trawler built to the breed's traditional standards of solid construction and refined detail. At 42 feet with a 13.58-foot beam, she carries the classic Grand Banks profile—sweeping sheer, high bulwarks, teak cap rails, and wide side decks that balance beauty with practical seamanship. Twin AMMarine John Deere diesel engines, each rated at 120 horsepower, drive her to a cruising speed around 8–9 knots and a maximum of roughly 11 knots, well-suited to long-range passage-making.

Below deck, the layout spans two cabins and two heads. The aft stateroom offers a queen berth and private head with shower; forward, V-berths provide guest accommodation with an ensuite head. The spacious salon connects them, warmed by large windows and finished in teak joinery and parquet flooring. An L-shaped settee, dining table, and lower helm station to starboard make up the main living area. The galley sits forward to port and includes a propane stove and oven, refrigerator, and deep sink with ample counter space.

Topside, a flybridge helm with bimini top offers excellent visibility and guest seating, while the lower helm provides full navigation controls for flexibility in varied conditions.
