1976 Shamrock Center Console
About This Yacht
This 1976 Shamrock is a 20-foot center console built on a fiberglass keel drive hull and powered by a single 220 horsepower Ford gasoline engine. The engine was rebuilt in 2019 and has logged fewer than 120 hours of running time. The boat cruises comfortably at 20 knots with a top speed around 30 knots, handling sharp turns at cruising speed with solid tracking and no tendency to slide.
The layout is purpose-built for fishing. A 40-gallon leaning post bait tank, multiple rod holders positioned throughout the boat, and an open bow provide ample space for crew and gear. The full walkaround design offers unobstructed access around the perimeter. New upholstery updates the cabin interior, while the hull delivers a dry ride in open water.
Range on a tank exceeds 150 miles, making longer trips to offshore fishing grounds or coastal islands feasible. Recent maintenance and upgrades include new canvas, blower, fuel pump, water pumps, filter, fuel gauge, teak restoration, carburetor, and strata glass. All systems function as designed.
