1976 Vindo 50S

The Vindo 50S is a 35-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1976. It features a 54 hp auxiliary engine and has been substantially maintained and upgraded over the past two decades. The boat underwent a major renovation around 2000, including new teak work, engine installation, and upholstery replacement.

The yacht has received continuous care through regular refits. Notable updates include a new rig with furling mainsail in 2022, a sprayhood with extension added in 2010, and bottom blasting and treatment in 2020. A bathing platform was installed in 2020. Interior systems have been modernized with a stainless septic tank fitted in 2015, new batteries and charger added in 2017, and a replacement toilet with new hoses completed in 2023.

Recent work on the engine was undertaken in 2023 and 2024. The boat has been stored indoors at a shipyard during winter months and was re-scraped and repainted in 2008. With a beam of just over 10 feet, the yacht is designed for comfortable cruising and handling under sail or auxiliary power.
