1977 Alberg 37

The Alberg 37 is a proven offshore cruising sailboat built by Whitby Boat Works in 1977. This fiberglass-hulled design is known for sea kindliness and steady motion through the water, performing well in heavy conditions and capable of maintaining 6 knots under sail in lighter winds when properly trimmed. The boat is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine of 38 horsepower.

The yacht has had two owners since new and has been continuously maintained and improved. Recent work includes new standing rigging and titanium chainplates installed in 2018, a deep service of the Yammer engine completed in 2025, and a 10-foot Portabote dinghy with a 6-horsepower Suzuki outboard added in 2022.
