1977 Baltic 42 Masthead Sloop

The Baltic 42 is a no-compromise ocean racing sloop designed by C & C Yacht Group and built in Finland. At 42 feet with a 13.25-foot beam, she features a fin underwater profile and a fiberglass hull. A single Perkins 4-108 diesel engine of 40 horsepower provides auxiliary power. The boat sleeps six and carries racing sails that are included.

The interior is warm and attractively finished with teak. Teak decks remain in serviceable condition, with the boards showing no cupping and bungs sitting tight, though some caulking will be needed in places. The hull is painted, with some areas requiring touch-up work.

The rigging is in very good condition, with the black-painted mast and standing rigging replaced approximately 20 years ago. Keel bolts are robustly sized and in clean condition. Sails were replaced in 2020, and additional racing sails are stored aboard. The boat has been maintained over a 25-year ownership period and has seen limited use in recent years.
