1977 Canoe Cove Tri-Cabin

The Sundancer is a 41-foot Canoe Cove Tri-Cabin flybridge cruiser powered by twin 6V53 Detroit diesel engines producing 197 horsepower each. The starboard engine was rebuilt with approximately 2,200 hours, while the port engine shows around 4,000 hours. She carries 400 gallons of fuel capacity across dual tanks and cruises at 10 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots. An Entec West 4.2 kilowatt generator supports onboard systems.

Accommodations include a master stateroom with a double and single berth fitted with new mattresses in 2024, a V-berth with two single beds, a saloon settee that converts to sleeping berth, and flybridge seating that folds flat for two additional sleepers. Two heads serve the cabin spaces—the master features a vacuum flush toilet and shower, while the V-berth has a Raritan head and sink. The boat carries 150 gallons of fresh water in a stainless steel tank and maintains a 28-gallon holding tank equipped with a new VacuFlush system installed in 2022.

The boat is well equipped for cruising and fishing. The upper and lower helms each carry Garmin GPS units installed in 2023, with VHF radios, depth sounders, and Ritchie compasses at both stations. Deck systems include an Ideal windlass with foot pedal control, 300 feet of 5/16-inch galvanized chain, Delta anchor with spare, Weaver davits fitted with an Anderson 28ST two-speed winch, and a dinghy crane. A 10-foot Bombard hard-bottom inflatable dinghy with 9.9 Yamaha outboard is included. The boat carries eight golf cart house batteries installed new in 2024, supported by a Magnum 2500-watt inverter and a 400-watt solar panel system.

Recent work includes new shaft seals from Tide Marine in 2025, new cutlass bearings in 2025, propeller tuning by Victoria Prop in 2025, replacement of wooden window frames with power-coated aluminum frames and tinted side windows, monel shaft replacement with Acumet 22 stainless shafts, and headliner replacement. Two serviced spare propellers are included.
