The C&C 24 is a 24-foot fiberglass sailboat built in 1977. The design is recognized for its quality construction and is considered among the better examples of the 24-foot class. The hull is relatively beamy for its length, which contributes to stiffness and stability under sail while allowing for a deeper cockpit than typical for boats of this size — a practical benefit for comfort during longer days on the water.
The interior remains in decent condition given the boat's age. The main cabin features a good-sized table and upholstered cushions. A portable toilet is installed and easily accessed. Topside, the large aluminum toerail provides secure footing and reinforces the hull-to-deck joint. The cockpit is spacious and connects to a transom-mounted stainless steel ladder for water access. A 1985 6-horsepower outboard provides auxiliary power.
The hull is blister-free and has been repainted with new antifouling bottom paint. The starboard deck at the midship shows some water intrusion that will require attention at some point, though this does not prevent the boat from being sailed. The boat has been actively cruised over the past 10 to 15 years and remains capable of many more years of use.
