This 34-foot CHB trawler is powered by a single Ford Lehman 120-horsepower diesel engine, a choice valued for its endurance and simplicity. The boat cruises at seven knots on 2.5 gallons per hour, making it an economical platform for extended Pacific Northwest travel. The fiberglass hull sits on an 11.75-foot beam, giving good interior volume relative to overall length. Fuel capacity was reduced from the original 300 gallons to 150 gallons when the black iron tanks were replaced in October 2024.
The accommodation plan centers on a spacious aft stateroom with a custom pull-out double berth on the starboard side and enclosed storage to port, served by its own head with shower. Forward, a split vee-berth in a separate cabin also has an ensuite head and shower. The main salon features an L-shaped settee with a dinette, and the galley sits forward on the port side with a three-burner stove, oven, and refrigerator. A second head compartment is forward as well. Teak overlay covers the weather decks, with teak handrails and caprails running the main deck; teak handrails also frame the bridge.
Systems include a Ford Lehman six-cylinder engine turning through a Paragon marine gear with mechanical steering at 3,800 hours. The Espar D-4 furnace and Red Dot cabin heater provide warmth. Power comes from 4D and 8D batteries charged via a 20-amp charger and Xantrex 1000-watt inverter, supported by 30-amp shore power. Navigation equipment includes a JRC radar, Garmin 492 chartplotter, Autohelm autopilot, and depth sounders. Deck gear comprises an electric anchor windlass, 275 feet of chain, a Danforth anchor, nine-foot dinghy with 2006 Tohatsu outboard, and davits. A 2011 Bimini top shelters the bridge with double-wide seating. Zincs were refreshed in March 2026.
