1977 One Design International 806

The International 806 is a timeless design by Pelle Petterson, built in 1977 by the respected O.L.-Båts yard in Ringsted. The boat exemplifies the designer's reputation for harmonious proportions, strong sailing characteristics, and solid construction. The fiberglass hull uses hand-laid techniques with sandwich reinforcement in high-stress areas, creating a stable and rigid structure. The boat is rigged with a 7/8 configuration and equipped with a Furlex 50 S roller furling system, rod kicker, and traveller set into the cockpit. An Andersen winch system supports the working sails.

The interior layout accommodates four berths with light grey upholstered cushions, organised around a salon with two long settee-berths and a cabin space. A spirit cooker and generous storage under the berths support cruising. Deck equipment includes a self-draining cockpit, teak trim details, and a full suite of sails: white Dacron mainsail and genoa, a near-new jib, and a red-and-white spinnaker. Canvas covers protect the boom, deck, and cockpit.

Navigation and propulsion are straightforward. A Garmin wind meter, log, and echo sounder form the electronics package, supported by a Nexus system with combined instruments. A 5 hp Suzuki outboard on a bracket with auxiliary tank provides auxiliary power. The boat comes with four mooring lines, six fenders, and a spinnaker pole.

The boat is ready to sail and presented in well-maintained condition, with teak details and clean overall finish reflecting careful ownership.
