1978 Bristol 29.9

A Halsey Herreshoff design built by Bristol Yachts, this 1978 Bristol 29.9 is a fiberglass sloop with enduring appeal. Powered by an original Yammer 2QM15 diesel engine, she carries a fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, and spinnaker. Navigation and communication equipment includes VHF, GPS, radar, plotter, depth sounder, and wind/speed meter.

Below deck, the layout includes a forward cabin with V-berth and a second cabin, along with one head. The galley features a two-burner stove and icebox. Cabinetry throughout is well finished with generous storage.

This yacht has been actively maintained and upgraded over recent years. Work completed includes replacement winches, sails, and rigging; a rebuilt and compensated compass; new electrical wiring and switch panel; refurbished navigation instruments; a custom gooseneck and dodger; Tides Marine sail track and bottom fittings; and oversized standing rigging with new shrouds and chain plates. The engine shows 2,300 hours.
