1978 Crosby 26' Tugboat

This 1978 Crosby 26-foot tugboat is a fiberglass-hulled work boat powered by a 125 horsepower John Deere diesel engine paired with a ZF transmission. The boat underwent a comprehensive rebuild completed in 2023, during which the engine was replaced with a new John Deere 4045TFM85 and the fuel and electrical systems were renewed.

The structural and systems work extended throughout the vessel. New Sapele frames and Coosa composite decks were installed, the pilot house was rebuilt with a new glassed top and aluminum windows, and the exhaust system was replaced with new dry exhaust piping. A Walter keel cooler was also fitted as part of the engine room upgrades.
