This 36'6" catamaran was designed and built by CSK, the legendary Hawaiian multihull pioneers Choy, Seaman & Kumalae, in 1978. The boat is a fiberglass construction with an 18'2" beam and has undergone extensive structural restoration in recent years. The work included removal of the original outer hull skins, inspection and repair of the framework, installation of new composite hull sides and fiberglass laminates, and fresh Awlgrip paint throughout. Updated wiring and system upgrades were completed as part of the refit, combining the boat's original Hawaiian design character with modernized infrastructure.
The open layout centers on a large salon with a retractable roof, complemented by wide side decks, twin trampolines, and an elevated helm station. The boat features an enclosed head compartment with a Raritan 12V system, freshwater capability via a ShurFlo pump, and extensive storage distributed throughout both hulls. Navigation and safety equipment includes a Cobra VHF radio, Richie compass, masthead tricolor light, steaming light, spreader lights, and underwater lighting. The helm features SeaStar steering with a Hynautic reservoir and hydraulic system for responsive control.
Power comes from a Yamaha F115 four-stroke outboard mounted on a centerline electric lift-and-lower system. The engine is supported by a Yamaha Command Link monitoring system with digital displays, fuel and water separators, and a 60-amp alternator feeding Group 24 batteries. Additional systems include six electric bilge pumps, an Electroscan treatment system, aluminum mast and boom, stainless railings with lifelines, Bomar deck hatch, and ground tackle comprising a Bruce anchor with chain and nylon rode. The boat comes with a trailer and has fresh bottom paint.
