1978 Dyer 40 Custom Express Cruiser

This 1978 Dyer 40 Custom Express Cruiser is a fiberglass downeast boat built and finished by Ram Point Marine. The yacht underwent a major refit in 1988 that included a new deck and house structure supplied by Dyer Boats. Twin Yanmar diesel engines, each rated at 315 horsepower, were installed in 2006 and power the boat to a cruising speed of 18 knots with a top speed of 23 knots. The topsides were repainted in 2024.

The interior layout centers on a spacious main salon with a settee for dining and relaxation. Forward is a large V-berth with a hanging locker for storage. The galley to port includes a propane cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, stainless steel sink, and storage lockers. An enclosed head compartment with vanity and sink houses a Vacu Flush marine toilet.
