This 1978 Maxi 95 is a 31-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a beam of just over 10 feet. Powered by a 30 hp Volvo diesel engine, the boat features wheel steering and has been substantially upgraded over recent years. Notable mechanical improvements include a carbon fibre mast installed in 2005, a two-blade Campbell Sailer propeller from 2013, and a stainless steel shaft fitted in 2011. Standing rigging has been 60 percent replaced as of 2024, and the epoxy bottom was treated with Interprotect in 2015.
Deck and cockpit equipment include a dodger and bimini from 2016, swim ladder, and davits. Below deck, the boat has a Lavac marine head with an 18-gallon holding tank. LED cabin lights and cabin upholstery refreshed in 2016 provide comfortable living space. Climate control is provided by an Espar Airtronic diesel cabin heater installed in 2012.
The electrical and mechanical systems have received recent attention. A 200-watt solar panel with a 60 Amp MPPT controller was added in 2024, along with new electrical systems, an engine water intake thru-hull, manual and electric bilge pumps, and a high water bilge alarm. Navigation and autopilot equipment includes Raymarine I70s instruments, a Raymarine EV-200 autopilot, and masthead and deck lights, all installed in 2024.
