1978 Tartan 37

The Tartan 37 is a fiberglass sailing yacht designed by Sparkman & Stephens, combining strong performance with comfortable cruising accommodations. Built in 1978, this example measures 37 feet in length with an 11.75-foot beam and is powered by a Westerbeke diesel engine of 40 horsepower.

The boat has been upgraded over the years with recent work including a new 130% roller-furling genoa, a soda-blasted and smoothed bottom, and full navigation instrumentation. The electrical system includes a 300 amp-hour battery bank and a 1800-watt inverter. Onboard amenities encompass refrigeration, a Keurig coffee maker, and a microwave oven for convenient cruising.
