1979 Bertram 38 Convertible

This 1979 Bertram 38 Convertible is a fiberglass-hulled convertible powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 900 horsepower combined. The boat is 38 feet in length with a 12-foot-6-inch beam, delivering the solid construction and offshore capability the Bertram name is known for.

The yacht has undergone extensive refitting. The hull and topsides received a fresh paint job, and the propulsion system was completely updated with new engines. A new generator was installed, and the electronics suite was fully modernized with dual 12-inch Simrad displays incorporating GPS, chartplotter, and radar functionality, complemented by a new depth sounder and gauge package.

Additional equipment includes single-lever Glendinning electronic controls, an ACR searchlight, Lenco trim tabs, a Seachoice windlass, and an Elliott life raft. The boat is fitted with a new enclosure, air conditioning and heating, a Raritan ice maker, KitchenAid refrigerator, and Bose speakers throughout.
