The 1979 C&C 34 is a classic fiberglass sailing yacht designed by naval architect Rob Ball, who counted this model among his best work for C&C Yachts. A 34-foot boat with an 11-foot beam, she carries a single 20-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and cruises at around 4 knots. The boat holds a PHRF racing certificate with a rating of 140 and comes equipped with a hard-bottomed fiberglass dinghy and cradle.
Topside, the boat features extensive upgrades including a Raymarine autopilot with remote control, a Horizon VHF radio, NAVTEC hydraulic backstay and headsail furler, Garhauer EZ glide travelers, and all new running lights. New halyards have been installed throughout, and the sail inventory is substantial—a well-used mainsail, #1 and #3 genoas, a storm jib, and a relatively new spinnaker. Additional deck hardware and spare parts are stored below.
The interior has been substantially renewed. Large plexiglass windows replace the originals with no crazing, offering clear visibility. The main cabin features a well-lit dining area with a naval-style gimbaled table, newly upholstered waterproof cushions, and pipe berths. A new CNG gimbaled gas stove and oven are fitted in the galley. The icebox and shelving provide good storage; a spacious marine head with LED lighting serves the two cabins—a roomy V-berth forward and an aft port quarter-berth. New cowl vents and plexiglass hatch vents maintain fresh ventilation throughout. A new winter cover was added last year, and the boat includes a cradle for storage.
