1979 Ericson 25plus
About This Yacht
The 1979 Ericson 25plus is a 25-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for cruising on the Great Lakes. The boat has spent its service life on Lake Superior only. Sails include a main and hank-on jib with approximately one season of use, a 130% genoa, and a storm jib. An OMC Saildrive auxiliary engine powers the boat and runs well, supported by spare parts and a service manual.
The yacht is equipped with a comprehensive suite of navigation and communication electronics: an Icom VHF base station and handheld radio, a Garmin 182 color GPS, a Ritchie compass, Signet depth sounder, and Moor knotmeters. Galley equipment includes a Force10 propane barbecue, butane cook stove, pots, pans, plates, and tableware. A new, unused porta-potty is included.
Accommodations feature cushions in good condition throughout. The boat comes with multiple anchors, a dinghy with a 2-horsepower Johnson outboard, and storage stands. Complete documentation and a service manual for the engine are included. The yacht has been actively maintained and performs well under sail.
