The 1979 Hatteras 58 Yacht Fish is a fiberglass motor yacht built during the era when Hatteras was known for solid construction and heavy lay-up. At 58 feet with a 15-foot 8-inch beam, she delivers a stable ride and classic lines. The boat is powered by a single Cummins 6B diesel engine producing 210 horsepower, with a three-to-one gear reduction and 836 hours on the engine as of March 2026. Cruising speed is 10 knots, with a maximum speed of 12 knots.

The interior features three staterooms and three heads, offering good separation and privacy throughout. The master stateroom is spacious, with two additional guest cabins providing comfortable accommodations. The salon is bright and open, a welcoming space for extended time aboard.

Recent upgrades significantly enhance self-sufficiency and modern reliability. A solar power system with 1,300 watts of panels and a 3,000-watt inverter allows for quiet, independent anchoring. The electrical system was converted from 32-volt to 12-volt DC. Five Epoch LiFePO4 lithium battery banks (314Ah each) provide robust power storage. A Phasor Marine 17.5-kilowatt diesel generator supports additional loads. New heads throughout, two new air-conditioning units, updated electronics, and radar complete the refitted package. The water maker produces 500 gallons per day with newly installed Sea R.O. membranes. Bottom paint has been recently applied.
