This 1979 Magnum 38 Sport is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines rated at 375 horsepower each. The engines are reverse-mounted and coupled to V-drives with Twin Disc transmissions. The boat was extensively modified by Mayea Boat Works in Detroit during the late 1990s, including the addition of a center console steering station on the bridge deck.
The cabin accommodates weekday or weekend cruising with a forward V-berth, dinette, galley, and fully enclosed head. The aft cockpit features a transom bench seat and raised aft-facing jump seats behind the helm, providing ample seating throughout.
Electronics include a Raymarine package with an updated multifunction display, autopilot, and depth transducer, complemented by an open array radar. A FLIR night vision camera is mounted on the radar arch. The boat has been regularly maintained and is presented in ready-to-use condition.
