1980 Bertram 35 Flybridge

This 1980 Bertram 35 Flybridge is a diesel-powered sportfisher built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Cummins 6BTA engines producing 330 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 24 to 25 knots. The engines were rebuilt and installed in 2018–2019, along with custom stainless steel exhaust and new running gear including shafts, cutlass bearings, dripless seals, and thru-hulls.

The interior was custom-finished by Crystaliner Corp and includes two cabins and two heads with sleeping for six. Accommodations feature ample storage, a galley with a Norcold refrigerator and freezer, GE microwave, and electric hot water heater. The saloon includes fresh upholstery and LED lighting throughout. A 5.5-kilowatt Northern Lights generator supports onboard systems.

The boat is equipped for serious fishing and offshore work. The flybridge carries 18-foot outriggers with maximizers, 16 rocket launchers, and an Anglers Specialties cockpit bait tank. The bow includes a Pacific Edge bait tank with three rod holders. Navigation and communication systems include a Simrad NSS EVO2 12-inch multifunction display with dual transducers, Furuno 24-nautical-mile radar, two Standard Horizon VHF radios, an Icom 2-meter radio, and a Simrad autopilot. Additional features include an electric windlass with 300 feet of chain, hydraulic steering, a six-person life raft, fresh and saltwater wash-down systems, and a teak swim step with dive ladder.

Recent service includes a complete cooling system overhaul in January 2026 with new heat exchangers, after-coolers, hoses, and thermostats. A haul-out in April 2025 included bottom paint and new thru-hulls. The generator underwent a mini-overhaul with hose, belt, pump, and heat exchanger service. New cockpit coaming pads were installed in 2025, and the head was replaced with a new Masterflush electric model with macerator.
