The Fast Passage 39 is a cruising cutter designed by Bill Garden and built by Philbrooks in Sydney, BC. At 39 feet with a 12-foot beam, this fiberglass hull represents a proven design popular in the Pacific Northwest. She is powered by a Volvo diesel engine producing 55 horsepower, which was installed in 2011 and has logged under 450 hours. A bow thruster is fitted for maneuvering.
The boat received a complete hull, cabin, and cockpit repaint in Awlgrip in 2023. Brightwork and polished stainless steel portlights are in excellent condition. The boat has been maintained to a high standard throughout her ownership, with particular attention given to systems and safety gear suitable for extended cruising in northern waters.
