This 54-foot Huckins Sport Cruiser is one of only two built and represents a rare example of the builder's distinctive design legacy. Known for innovative composite construction and commanding lines, Huckins yachts earned a reputation few American builders have matched. The boat has undergone comprehensive modernization of its core systems, beginning with a complete drivetrain renewal: twin 2022 Caterpillar C7.1 engines at 450 horsepower each, paired with new Twin Disc V-drive transmissions, shafts, and 4-blade bronze propellers. The hours on the new engines and generator are minimal, logged in 2022 and maintained since. Supporting systems match this standard—new engine and generator mounts, a 2022 Kohler 14kW generator, and a 2024 bow thruster all integrated throughout.

The layout suits extended cruising and live-aboard use, with two cabins and two heads distributed across a thoughtfully planned interior. Expansive deck spaces and a bright pilothouse create comfortable entertaining areas, while the galley has been updated to current standards. Solar panels provide independent power for most onboard systems, excluding air conditioning, enabling off-grid operation when desired.
