1980 Lafitte 44 Cutter

This 1980 Lafitte 44 Cutter is a fiberglass sailing yacht with a 60 hp Isuzu diesel engine and substantial cruising capability. The engine was rebuilt in 2014 and serviced in November 2024. The prop shaft was reworked and the propeller replaced at the same time, with bottom work completed then as well.

The yacht accommodates two staterooms and two heads. The layout includes a full berth and crew berth in the aft stateroom, with an expansive salon offering generous storage throughout. Access to the cabin is via both cockpit and cabin top companionways.

Navigation and communication systems include a Garmin GPS and VHF radio with AIS, installed in 2013. Ground tackle comprises CQR anchors of 60 and 45 pounds, deployed by an electric windlass.
