1980 Roughwater 41

The 1980 Roughwater 41 is a fiberglass pilothouse trawler designed by Ed Monk Sr., known for seaworthy Pacific Northwest cruising yachts. At 41 feet by 13 feet, she combines efficient hull design with a practical pilothouse layout suited to long-range coastal work.

Power comes from a John Deere 4045 series diesel engine rated at 180 horsepower, with only 105 hours on the engine. A Kohler 6EKOD generator provides onboard electrical power and has logged 114 hours. The boat has been completely rewired with a custom AC/DC electrical panel updated to modern standards.

Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and two heads for comfortable cruising. The interior layout reflects the pilothouse design's emphasis on practical, efficient use of space for extended time at sea.

Recent work includes fresh bottom paint and varnish applied in April 2026, along with a new battery for the main propulsion engine. All systems are current on service. The boat presents in solid condition throughout, reflecting consistent maintenance and thoughtful mechanical upgrades focused on reliability and modern cruising capability.
