The 1980 Tollycraft 48 Cockpit Motor Yacht is a semi-displacement fiberglass hull built for coastal cruising and rough-water capability. Powered by twin Detroit diesel engines delivering 620 horsepower, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots and cruises comfortably at 16 knots. The hull features trim tabs for improved handling and a full walk-around deck design.
The accommodations center on a full-beam aft master cabin, a spacious saloon, and a guest V-berth with its own head. The galley is positioned to port, with a convertible dinette to starboard. The flybridge, upper command bridge, and generous cockpit provide multiple outdoor spaces, while a boat deck supports the included aluminum-hulled RIB tender powered by a 2022 Suzuki 9.9 EFI four-stroke outboard.
Recent upgrades and maintenance include a replaced command bridge enclosure, new water tank, Nova Kool refrigerator-freezer, dual Mansfield Vacu-flush heads, and Xantrex 2500 inverter-charger with battery bank of six 6-volt golf cart batteries and two Group 31 starting batteries. Electronics include a Standard Horizon Matrix VHF with AIS and dual Lowrance HDS 9 GPS plotters at upper and lower helms, plus a Robertson autopilot. Ground tackle comprises a Manson primary anchor with 250 feet of quarter-inch G8 high-tensile chain and spare propellers. Zinc anodes have been replaced and the hull diver-cleaned.
