The Bianca 414 is a 1981 sailing yacht built by Danish yard Bianca Yacht in Rudkøbing. Designed by Kjærulff and Elvström, this 41-foot fiberglass cruiser combines classic proportions with proven seaworthiness. Her narrow beam of 9.5 feet, long bow overhang, and open flush deck give her distinctive lines that remain timeless. A lead keel and approximately four tonnes of ballast create a ballast ratio near 50 percent, producing a stiff, responsive platform that handles easily even in moderate conditions—reefing typically becomes necessary only above 20 knots of wind.
The yacht accommodates two cabins and one head, offering comfortable cruising quarters. Power comes from a single 30-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine for auxiliary propulsion and maneuvering.
Since 2019, the yacht has undergone extensive refitting. The bottom was stripped and repainted with new antifouling and epoxy primer in 2022. Major upgrades include a lithium service battery with contemporary charging technology, an inverter, updated navigation electronics, new sails, a diesel heater, and a 35-liter hot water boiler. The standing rigging was replaced in winter 2025/2026.
