This 1981 Boston Whaler Outrage 20 is powered by twin 1998 Johnson 90 HP 2-stroke outboards—the maximum factory-recommended twin-engine configuration for this model. The engines start readily and run well, delivering strong performance with the redundancy benefit of dual propulsion. The boat's deep cockpit and fiberglass construction are built for offshore work, handling chop smoothly and providing the stable platform the Outrage series is known for.

Recent maintenance includes new bottom paint and a new bow through-hull fitting, both completed in 2025. The boat comes with a 2024 Continental aluminum trailer featuring a swing tongue design that allows storage in a standard 24-foot garage. The trailer is in good condition and tows well.
