1981 Hatteras 56 Motor Yacht

The 1981 Hatteras 56 Motor Yacht is powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 1,520 horsepower combined, with major rebuilds completed in 2022 to current engine specifications. The fiberglass hull measures 56 feet in length with an 18-foot beam, designed for comfortable cruising at 10 knots.

Accommodations include three cabins and three heads. The interior has been substantially updated with newer systems throughout. Most marine electrical panels have been replaced, along with new LED lighting and updated electrical switches. The plumbing and electrical systems have been largely renewed. Air conditioning compressors are newer except for the bow unit, which operates to manufacturer specifications.

Structural and exterior work includes a freshly painted white hull with clean bilges. Fifteen windows and frames were removed, re-bedded, re-caulked, sealed, and painted. Electronics include newer Garmin 7212 plotters, sonar, and radar in the pilothouse and bridge, along with Starlink satellite television and internet. An 11-foot Highfield tender with 20-horsepower Tohatsu engine is included.

The boat has received continuous professional maintenance and documented service work totaling over $1.3 million from 2012 through 2026, with detailed service records maintained on board.
