1981 Marine Europa

A 1981 Marine Europa, this 44-foot fiberglass trawler is built for extended cruising and long-distance voyaging. Twin Ford Lehman diesel engines deliver 240 hp combined and cruise at 8 knots with good fuel economy. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 9 knots.

The layout includes a fully equipped galley and accommodations suited to comfortable cruising or living aboard. The boat is outfitted with standard cruising gear: dock lines, fenders, PFDs, and ground tackle.

Engine and generator systems are well-maintained. Twin naturally aspirated Lehman engines are known for reliability and economical operation. A newer Kohler generator with low running hours provides onboard power. Fuel capacity consists of two aluminum tanks with heavy-gauge construction, each holding 250 gallons.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensive. The boat carries Garmin autopilot, GPS chartplotter, VHF radio, and AIS receiver. A Garmin depth sounder and Hummingbird 560 sonar round out the electronics suite. Systems were updated with NMEA 2000 compatibility in 2024.
