This 1981 Nielsen 46 is a fiberglass trawler designed by Robert Allen and built in Sidney, BC. The boat measures 46 feet in length with a 12-foot 5-inch beam, drawing approximately 4 feet. Its V-entry hull with rounded underbody, full keel, and skeg-mounted rudder reflects a design built for comfortable cruising. Power comes from a single Detroit 6V-71 diesel engine producing 225 horsepower, running fresh-water cooled with 2,600 hours logged.
