This 1981 Vagabond 47 is a blue-water cruising sailboat built in fiberglass with a 13.3-foot beam. Powered by an 85-horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine with 5,800 hours, it cruises at 7 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 8 knots. The yacht carries dual 110-gallon fuel tanks and triple water tanks totaling 337 gallons, supporting extended offshore passages. Ground tackle includes three anchors—a 65-pound CQR, 66-pound Bruce, and 37-pound Fortress—with a Nilsson electric windlass.

The interior arranges three cabins and two heads across a layout designed for comfortable long-term living. Accommodations include two double berths and two single berths. The galley features a Force 10 four-burner oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a Fleming Marine refrigerator with integrated deep freezer. A freshwater maker produces 40 gallons daily, while an Isotherm hot-water heater provides domestic water heating.

Electrical systems center on a 300-watt solar array, a Northern Lights 673D generator, and a Victron Multi 3000 inverter. House power draws from eight Lifeline AGM 6-volt batteries installed in 2022, supported by a 50-amp alternator and Victron battery charger. Electronics include a full Garmin navigation suite with 3210 plotter and GPS, Furuno radar, a Robertson autopilot, and Standard Horizon VHF with AIS. SSB radio provides long-range communication.

Recent upgrades include a new watermaker, charger and inverter, fuel filter and polisher system, deck boxes, engine sea water pump and coolers, and new countertops. The teak deck was removed and replaced with non-skid topsides. Five sails are aboard—mainsail, mizzen, staysail, yankee, and asymmetric spinnaker—all in good condition. A Highfield 340 dinghy with hypalon tubes and 25-horsepower Yamaha outboard, both from 2022, are included. Deck equipment encompasses a bimini top, full sun shades, swimming ladder, and davits.
