An 83-foot Burger motor yacht built in 1982 with exterior design and engineering by the respected Sparkman & Stephens firm. Twin Detroit Diesel engines of 1,300 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots. The aluminum hull has been refinished with new paint and varnish in 2024.
The yacht accommodates five staterooms with four heads. Three staterooms are positioned aft, each with its own head, while three crew quarters are forward. The open aft deck includes a safe lounge area with railings and a barbecue grill, complementing the covered flybridge above.
The main engines were replaced in 2001 with original transmissions retained; both transmissions were subsequently rebuilt. Twin 20-kilowatt Onan generators installed in 1999 have been replaced with a new 20-kilowatt Phasor unit. The boat is fitted with a bow thruster and Naiad stabilizers. Recent work includes replacement of all running gear and struts. The yacht has been hauled out of the water since January with full restoration of structural and mechanical systems completed.
