This 1982 Endurance 35 is a full-keel cutter-rigged sloop built by the Dekleers, known for their reputation of overbuilding sturdy fiberglass hulls. The boat features an aft cockpit layout with a keel-hung rudder and a deck-stepped aluminum mast. Power comes from a Perkins 4-108 diesel engine rated at 50 horsepower.
The sail plan includes a mainsail and staysail in Dacron, a 130% jib, and a jib with a Harken Mark II furling and reefing system, along with a whisker pole. Deck equipment comprises a 25-pound Danforth and 50-pound stainless steel CQR anchor, 300 feet of 3/8-inch galvanized chain, and a Lofrans Cayman 88 electric winch. A compass, depth sounder, wind speed indicator, and VHF/GPS all support navigation, while self-tailing and single-speed winches manage the rig.
Below decks, accommodations include a gimballed three-burner Magic Chef stove with oven, a Norcold top-load refrigerator and freezer, and a Fab-All diesel heater. Fuel capacity is 60 gallons, water 40 gallons, and there is a 15-gallon holding tank. A new starting battery was installed in 2025, supported by a 20-amp Lewco charger and 30-amp shore power connection. The head is manual Jabsco. Propane is stored in a single 20-pound tank with a remote shut-off.
The boat was last hauled out in September 2025 for bottom paint, zinc replacement, a survey, and stuffing box replacement. A boarding ladder, propane barbecue, teak cockpit table, and two cockpit aluminum biminis complete the setup.
