This 1982 Hatteras 61 is a diesel-powered motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull, measuring 61 feet in length with an 18-foot beam. The boat accommodates four cabins and four heads, offering comfortable cruising accommodations for extended passages.
Major mechanical work has been completed on this project. Both engines have been replaced with 671 naturally aspirated Detroit diesels. The generator is a 9 kilowatt Northern Lights unit that has received a top-end overhaul. The entire electrical system has been rewired and upgraded from 32 volt to 12 volt with new Hatteras breakers throughout.
The boat remains in running condition and is currently set up for active use. While additional finishing work remains, the core systems have been substantially addressed, allowing the boat to be operated and lived aboard during any ongoing refurbishment.
