This 1982 Hunter 25 is a fiberglass sailing yacht with shallow-draft capability, drawing just 2 feet 11 inches. She carries a main and 110% jib as standard sails, plus a large 3/4 ounce drifter. Equipment includes a knotmeter, depthmeter, and all safety gear. Power comes from a 9.9 Evinrude long-shaft outboard.
The boat has been used in fresh water only. Recent work includes a major blister repair completed using West System epoxy, new anti-fouling bottom paint, wet-sanding and polishing of the topsides, and replacement of the teak runners and sliding hatch hardware with new custom woodwork. The hatch has been repainted.
The shallow draft and clean underbody make her responsive under sail in a range of conditions. She is suited to both single-handed sailing and cruising with crew.
