1982 Post Sport Fisherman

This 42-foot Post Sport Fisherman is a fiberglass-hulled cruiser powered by twin Detroit diesel engines producing 900 horsepower combined, capable of 26 knots at top speed and 22 knots while cruising. The boat was built in 1982 and has spent most of its operational life in fresh water, with saltwater exposure limited to a single transit from New Jersey to the Great Lakes.

The yacht carries a 10-foot tender with a 9.9-horsepower Yamaha outboard and gas tank, mounted on newly installed swim platform davits. Interior spaces feature Plas-teak flooring throughout. Power generation comes from a 9.5-kilowatt Onan generator, and the boat is equipped with both air conditioning systems and a full electronics suite that includes AIS, Starlink, and a Fusion radio system with amplifier and speakers.

Recent mechanical and systems work completed within the last five years includes replacement of engine turbos, starters, fuel filters, water pumps, coolant hoses, and fuel lines. The port engine received new injectors. The winlass was rebuilt in 2024, and brightwork was refinished that same summer. Both AC systems have been upgraded, as have all onboard electronics.
